So we've had questions of what the kids think about moving to Africa. We've tried to be very open with them in discussions and let them know about some of the loss of convenience in moving out of the US. In all, our kids are pretty adaptable. Lily has already lived in three different states and Gabby's personality is just happy all the time! I know there will be some big adjustments, but I also know that God has ordained them for this, just as much as us. Here are their own thoughts on it...and, yes, Gabby is determined we are getting a baby brother from Africa (at first she just thought that all baby brothers come from Africa, but after some discussion we've explained that mom and dad can have their own baby brother...she's not having any of that)!
Isn't it funny the way kids think!? Your daughter is beautiful...I saw pics of her a few weeks ago on your mom's FB...so precious. Oh, and we are trying to leave in Jan or Feb but it really just depends on getting the funds.
Jennifer, How precious these girls are. You and Kevin have done a wonderful job instilling the right values in them. Train them up....this of course brought tears to my eyes reading their letters. Guess you better get ready for a little brother. Her faith is solid! Mom
We are high school sweethearts married with two beautiful girls, Lily and Gabby. In 2005 God completely rescued us and turned our lives inside out in an awesome way, and here we are today trying the best we can to live out His will for our lives!

I didn't know you were moving to Africa!! Wow!!!! That is amazing!! When do you leave?
BTW...if my boys were younger, they'd probably think all sisters come from China!! LOVE that!!
